The remnants of Beta are sitting off the coast of the Outer Banks this evening while high pressure is building over the Tennessee River Valley. The result is a cool, damp, onshore, southeasterly flow that will keep fairly thick low clouds, along with some patchy drizzle, across most of the Susquehanna Valley for our Saturday night. Best chance for the drizzle will be east of York City and Harrisburg. Thanks to the high humidity, it's going to be a warm night with lows in the mid 60s. Some patchy dense fog is possible area wide.
Sunday looks to start off like Saturday with thick clouds, patchy drizzle, some fog. As Beta pulls away from the East Coast during the afternoon, we could see some breaks in the clouds. Isolated, light rain showers will still be possible through the afternoon. Highs will be warmer, near 80 degrees.
Our weather pattern stays unsettled for most of the week ahead with daily chances for showers or thundershowers as we see a strong upper-level trough interacting with several disturbances moving through the region.
Weather starts to dry out with unseasonably cool, dry air for the first weekend in October.
